Providing Fishing Equipment and Boats

Over 100 families of residents in Koh Nok village, Thaimuang district, Phang-nga province will be going back to sea soon after Mercy Foundation has decided to help them with fishing nets, crab traps, and fishery equipment and supplies. Koh Nok village has over 400 families but after tsunami hit their village, all of the fishing boats, fishing cages to raise fish, fish nets, crab traps, and other fishing equipment were all destroyed. But now, there is hope again. The villagers of Koh Nok are very excited to be able to start their lives again.

 

 

 

There are other villages in Thaimuang and Takuapa districts that are waiting for Mercy Foundation to assist them with fishing boats, fishing nets, shrimp nets, and crab traps.
